Camp Coordinator
YOUTH SUMMER CAMP 2027
A RIOT summer program for middle school aged youth
RIOT Youth Rock Camp is a 5-day summer day camp for girls, trans, and gender-expansive youth ages 11–14. Campers learn an instrument, form a band, write an original song, create band art, participate in enrichment workshops, and perform at a final showcase for friends, family, and fans. The program centers empowerment, identity exploration, creative expression, and community-building — offering a transformative experience for youth at all musical skill levels.

During camp week, the Camp Coordinator will oversee daily operations and supervise a volunteer team of approximately 20–30 people, including band coaches, counselors, workshop instructors, and gear/hospitality volunteers, to help deliver a safe, welcoming, and empowering experience for all campers.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, youth-centered organizer who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys building community, and is excited to help create a joyful, identity-affirming summer experience for middle school youth.
The Camp Coordinator reports directly to the RIOT Board of Directors.
