Bach and Boogie Intergenerational Toddler Music Class

Bach & Boogie is a small, Rhode Island–based, mission-driven LLC that creates joyful intergenerational music classes inside senior living communities. We focus on real classical music, simple movement, and warm interaction between toddlers, families, and older adults. The program began in 2024 with one idea: young children don’t need instruction — they need beauty, presence, and community. After starting in Massachusetts, we expanded to Rhode Island and now partner with senior living homes to bring weekly music experiences directly into their space. Our long-term vision is to bring high-quality music to more little ones and to normalize intergenerational connection in early childhood.

We run weekly intergenerational music classes for children ages 0–4 inside senior living communities. Each session blends classical music, simple movement, and casual interaction between families and elders. Our facilitators introduce one musical idea each week - high vs. low notes, loud vs. soft, musical imagery, and more - using short, accessible activities and rituals. We collaborate closely with senior living communities by bringing our facilitators, music, and class structure directly into their space. It is a joyful, easy, low-lift arts experience for residents and families, building connections across generations.
