The Assistant Site Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Site Coordinator in the daily operations of in-person after school and expanded learning programs. Assistant Site Coordinators must be able to work in person Monday-Friday from 1:30-5:30pm while program is in session. This is a yearlong position with up to 20 hours of work a week during the school year and up to 40 hours of work a week in the summer. Assistant Site Coordinators report directly to the respective Site Coordinator. In collaboration with volunteers, program providers, school officials and other AfterZone Staff, Youth Engagement Specialists help ensure that the AfterZone is a safe and fun place for youth to be after school. Youth Engagement Specialists are responsible for leading high-quality programming, mentoring youth, and role-modeling positive interactions with the community-at-large. Youth Engagement Specialists must be able to work in person Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-5:30pm while program is in session.
