Good Neighbors is a volunteer-driven nonprofit providing healthy food through two pantry locations and a community kitchen in East Providence, RI. As demand grows, we need to plan for our future by recruiting appropriate leadership that will help us continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
We're seeking Board Directors with targeted expertise to ensure our leadership team has the skills and experience needed to carry Good Neighbors into the next chapter.
We are looking for committed individuals who have any of the following:
Real-estate and facilities expertise
Financial expertise
Fund development or philanthropic expertise
Legal expertise
Candidates should have strong strategic thinking and communication skills, interest in nonprofit service and community impact, and a commitment to food access, dignity, and equity.
This is an unpaid volunteer board position. The reward is knowing that you are having a meaningful impact by directly supporting a mission that feeds thousands of families every week, creating an essential space for dignity, stability, and hope.
