As the Director of Admissions & Community Engagement, you will help cultivate a warm, vibrant, and connected school community while guiding prospective families through the admissions process. This leadership role is ideal for someone who loves building relationships, creating meaningful experiences, and helping families feel a genuine sense of belonging within a Jewish Day School.
In This Role, You Will:
Community Engagement
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaged community of families
- Support parent interest and engagement groups, room parents, and volunteer initiatives
- Plan and facilitate community-building events throughout the year
- Build relationships with local Rhode Island organizations and community partners
- Welcome new families and help connect them to the life of the school
- Partner with school leadership to strengthen community culture and belonging
Admissions & Enrollment - Serve as a welcoming guide for prospective families throughout the admissions process
- Conduct tours and build relationships with prospective parents
- Coordinate admissions events, including playdates and community gatherings
- Develop partnerships with local preschools and community organizations
- Represent JCDSRI at outreach events and in the broader community
- Partner with the Head of School, Principal and CFO on enrollment and retention initiatives
