Alliance to Mobilize Our Resistance (AMOR)

Alliance to Mobilize Our Resistance (AMOR) is a nonprofit organization in Rhode Island that organizes to interrupt state violence and supports people impacted by the inhumane immigration system. We do this through community organizing, advocacy and by creating safe, healing, accessible, and empowering community spaces.

AMOR fights for a world where humane immigration practices are guaranteed and where crossing borders is a natural and safe part of life, especially for our Black and Indigenous relatives. A world with equitable access to basic resources and services for migrants, including mental and physical health, housing, food, language and education, and where migrants are guaranteed due process under the law.
