Rhode Island Student Assistance Services (RISAS) is a division of Coastline EAP. We are a nonprofit organization committed to promoting mental health and preventing substance use across Rhode Island. Together, we support both workplaces and school communities through early intervention, counseling, training, and education.
What We Do
RISAS focuses on school-based prevention and mental health promotion, partnering with over 75 middle and high schools to deliver the Student Assistance Program, youth leadership development, and community coalition work. Our licensed counselors help students navigate challenges related to substance use, mental health, trauma, and stress, ensuring they receive the proper support at the right time.
